The movie was great! We had read the book, so we noticed quite a bit of difference between the book and the movie.... but the kids all agreed they loved the movie!! If you get a chance to go see it, I recommend it. If you enjoyed the first one, you'll enjoy this one too.The White Witch even makes a brief appearance.

I'm working on a "dance" digi scrapbook for my daughter. She has completed four years of dance with her teacher. Next year we will have to go to another dance school.
I thought this was the perfect time to make an album for her.

We have only 8 more days of school until our summer break! YIPPEE!!!!!! I cannot wait! I love school breaks when I get to just be "mom", and don't have to wear quite as many hats. It's always funny to me to run into mom's at the end of the summer who talk about looking forward to their kids going back to school. I always feel the opposite. I want to stay on break, so I can just be their "mom". LOL!! Ironic, huh?
We are in the middle of ITBS testing for my boys this week, so that's another thing I am looking forward to finishing. On Friday, we plan to go see Prince Caspian. That will be a nice reward for our hard work this week! I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Well, we started our standardized testing this week. I'm giving my daugher the ITBS, and gave my oldest son an Algebra aptitude test. Next week my two sons will do their ITBS tests.
As a homeschooler we have to test every three years, but I like to do them more often to reassure myself that we are progressing well. It looks like we're doing pretty good so far. My oldest did well enough on the Algebra aptitude test, that is suggests he will likely do well in Algebra 1.
Very nice!!! I've been worried about that one as he's only 12. We're going to do some prep work over the summer to get ready, but I think he will go ahead with Algebra 1 next year.
Whew! That was a big decision for us. The rest of next year's planning will be a piece of cake! LOL! (I hope!)

I'm home from my FABULOUSLY fun scrapbook retreat!! It was a fantastic weekend full of junk food, scrapping, laughing, and watching several chic flicks!
There were only 7 of us this time, so we each had two tables for scrapping and a bottom bunk for sleeping!
Anyway, I am off to work on school plans for this week. It was great to get away for a weekend with my scrapping pals.
